Dual-light iPhone holder — €119 excl. VAT and shipping
Includes two lights and polarising film. Made for the exact iPhone model specified when ordering. A separate iPhone holder without lights or polarising filters is available for either holder type for €40 excl. VAT and shipping. This can be used if the wrong size was ordered or if the holder is later required for another iPhone model.
Please state the exact iPhone model when ordering and specify whether the holder will be used with a particular case. A precise fit cannot be fully guaranteed when used with a case because cases vary in thickness and design. Contact info@aveaconsult.dk.
Build your own cross-polarised lighting setup
You can also build your own setup. Place linear polarising film in front of each light and a linear polarising filter in front of the iPhone camera. Rotate the camera filter approximately 90° relative to the light filters until skin reflections are minimised. Photograph in a dark or controlled room, keep light output, distance and filter orientation identical for before and after photos, and check the exposure because polarising film reduces the amount of light. Ensure that the construction is stable and does not cover other cameras or sensors.

Cross-polarised photography
FotoMatch supports standardised and cross-polarised photography. Place linear polarising film in front of the light source and a polarising filter in front of the camera. Rotate the filters relative to each other until reflections from the skin are reduced as much as possible. Use the same brightness, distance and filter position for before and after photos.
Polarising film reduces the amount of light. Check the exposure before starting the photo series. Professional linear film is available from photography and lighting suppliers, including through the dealer networks of Rosco Polarizing Filter and B+W Polarizing Film. Avea Consult and FotoMatch are not affiliated with these manufacturers, and availability may vary.

Data controller and contact
FotoMatch is developed by Avea Consult ApS, Kong Svends Plads 7A, 1st floor, 6800 Varde, Denmark. Questions about the app or this privacy policy may be sent to info@aveaconsult.dk.
The clinic or professional using FotoMatch for patient or client documentation is the data controller for the information they enter in the app. Avea Consult ApS does not automatically receive this information.
Information processed
Users may record client information, contact details, date of birth, photos, consultations, clinical notes, assessments and reports. The app may also store technical capture information to support consistent before-and-after photography.
Purpose
The information is processed to organise local clinical photo documentation, compare before and after photos, create reports and support the user's own backups.
Storage and disclosure
Data is stored locally on the user's device. FotoMatch does not automatically send client, photo or clinical data to Avea Consult ApS, analytics providers, advertising networks or other external servers.
Users may choose to share reports, photos or backup files using features available on their device. The recipient's terms and the terms of the chosen sharing service then apply to the shared copy.
Access and security
The app uses Face ID or the device passcode for access protection. The user and clinic are responsible for securing the device, managing access and storing exported files appropriately.
Retention and deletion
Information remains on the device until the user deletes the individual photo, consultation, report, client or app data. Backup files are managed and deleted separately by the user. Uninstalling the app will normally remove its local data, but does not remove copies previously exported or shared by the user.
Requests for access, correction or deletion of patient or client data held by a clinic should be directed to the clinic that recorded the information. Enquiries about Avea Consult ApS's own processing may be sent to info@aveaconsult.dk.
Consent and legal basis
The clinic is responsible for having the necessary legal basis and consent for photography, registration, storage and sharing in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR.
Children
FotoMatch is designed for professional use and is not marketed to children. The clinic is responsible for obtaining any required consent from a parent or guardian when processing information about minors.
Changes
The policy may be updated if the app's features or data processing change. The current version will be published on this page.
